Man charged with series of drug supply offences

A man has been charged with a series of drug supply offences between Cannock and Walsall.

Mohammed Rahman, 40, of Walsall, has been charged with:

Three counts of being concerned in the supply of heroin

Two counts of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine

Possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A – crack cocaine

Possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A – heroin.

It comes after officers from our major and organised crime team stopped a man in Walsall yesterday morning (Tuesday 9 September).

Operation Target was launched in May 2023 and has seen officers going after the groups and individuals responsible for high-harm crimes, including county lines drug distribution, illegal firearms activity, modern slavery and cyber-crime.

Major and organised crime proactive officers in the north and south of the county continue to work relentlessly to gather and act on intelligence, carrying out stop searches and targeting offenders in pre-planned operations and proactive warrants.
